That is so me, trying to clean the entire house, or fit in a work out and a shower, or whatever before I leave the house. I know this about me, so I have to fight it all the time. Start earlier, leave the living room unpicked up.

And then there’s the “Did I lock the front door?” syndrome when you’re already in the car, and have to get out to go check it.

My mother said a family friend was the same way about cleaning the house before leaving. I don’t know what that is, but I figure we’re related to Monk in some way.
