Is a hate filled diatribe supposed to convince anyone of anything? When people spout off like this, wishing for the death of billions, and the death of the entire planet, I have to wonder about them. How do you live? Do you sacrifice all your time to helping others? Do you go without food and shelter in order to feed and clothe and shelter those homeless?
I see nothing admirable about these traditions. I've read about what they do to female children. Some indigenous tribes put their old folk out on ice floes to die. How is that any better than any western practice?
Most people repudiate any western tradition that abuses children. The US is a nation of individualists, so it's very difficult to regulate everything, but we try to protect our most vulnerable. We don't succeed as much as we'd like.
And there are fully as many black folk who oppress as there are white. Read about some of them. I just read an article about tribes who slaughter each other and entire families, including children, over a type of music they play! Sounds very familiar, doesn't it? Sort of like the western BS you were talking about? How are they so worthy of admiration again?
Tribes are small and live in one area and are all related to one another. Try going to live with them and see how you like it and whether you'd be accepted.
People in small towns and in big cities in the western world take care of each other and of their elderly and orphaned, too. We do the best we can with what we've got and with how many people we have to help. Sometimes it's beyond us, particularly now that drugs are becoming more prevalent and more destructive physiologically.
It isn't a question of thinking anyone is "inferior." We've studied these societies for the past 100 years or more and we've learned a lot from them..
Many tribes kill and eat each other, too.. I find nothing admirable about the abuses any people commit in the name of tradition, evil, revenge, or anything else.
