He lived there and reported what he knew to be true. He didn't nitpick and choose the "worst possible things" to write about. One of the first things people do is look for a place to live, and he said people should be VERY careful who to give money to over there-- apparently, it's the wild west when it comes to real estate. Agents can be dishonest here, too, but we have licensed, certified professional designations for them. If you buy or rent here, you pretty much know with whom you should be dealing. If I was planning on moving elsewhere, I'd want to know these things.
